The National Center for Health Statistics in the US released the results of the “National Survey of Family Growth” done in 2002. 11 percent of women between the ages of 25-44 reported having had a same sex experience at some point in their live. 14% of women aged 20-29 years of age indicated they have had sexual contact with a woman while 12.3 % of women aged 35-39 made the same claim.
Only 6.5% of men aged 25-44 years of age reported having had sexual contact with a same sex partner.
Only 4.1% of women and 4.9% of men aged 18-59 reported having a same sex experience in the 1992 National Health and Social Life Survey study.
